Serving together with Water for Ishmael (WFI) to partner with the local church to build a welcoming community for Toledo area internationals, to share the hope and love of Jesus Christ, and to empower internationals with the skills to become successful.
There are 4 main ways we seek to jointly work with WFI to achieve the mission:
- Praying: earnestly imploring God to send labors into the harvest, to transform everyone we encounter (including ourselves) and to have eyes to see and join in the work God is already doing.
- Teaching: providing quality ESL classes and practical help while building relationships with trust, compassion and love.
- Hospitality: opening our home and life to internationals and fellow believers and modeling God’s love while bridging new relationships. “We love because He first loved us.” -1 John 4:19
- Discipleship: working with the local church to help make hospitality and witnessing a daily part of its life, especially towards internationals.
