Our third International Family Co-op is coming this Sunday. We still need families who have a missional heart to join us. If you are already reaching out and involved locally with internationals, that is great! But if not, this is a great a way to connect and meet and perhaps expand your heart for the lost.
Lord willing, we will have more international families join us – from Ukraine to Afghanistan to China to Mexico! And while I’m grateful for the opportunity to befriend and welcome them, I cannot do this on my own. I need your help.
We need more families with a missional heart who want to reach out and genuinely build friendships, share the love and good news of Jesus and potentially help provide some practical skills. Maybe you would prefer to sit in on a class as someone who could assist and befriend? Or perhaps you could join at the meal after words and strike up a new friendship? Or perhaps you have a skill and info that our new “out-of-town” friends might need, such as skills in finding a home, how to deal with medical issues, a conversation partner or more. Or perhaps you aren’t able to join us, but you would be open to being a conversation partner – I’m sure there is someone who would greatly benefit from both your friendship and help.
Or perhaps you think, “I’m not that skilled at teaching English!” Well, we have some friends who need to learn their ABCs, phonics and just the basics. Could you help do that? There are so many people with so many needs – and we would love to have you join us.
If you are interested, please reach to me and let know, we would love to have you join us. You can find out more about this event at https://ifctoledo.com/ and register there as well. We also need people to pray for us and pray for those we work with.
Praise the Lord, last time we had our first few Middle Eastern families join us and Lord willing, will have some of our Ukrainian friends join too.
