We wanted to give you and update on our support raising and share a praise for God’s provision. Firstly, we rejoice and praise the Lord that we have reached just over 50% of our support raising goals. We are committed to trusting God and looking to Him to work in the right hearts of people, churches and organizations to join us in this work. Because of our trust in God and a conviction of His power and work, we will not manipulate friendships or use a sales pitch to raise funds. We will pray, share what we are doing, be honest where we are at and invite anyone who would like to join us in this work through one’s prayers, financial support and offering to open one’s home and time to meet internationals. We thank God for you and your support to help us reach this goal.
We also want to share a prayer request, one that we have been wrestling with and seeking to commit to God. Once we get up to 75% of our support, we are asking God to help guide, lead and provide a home that will provide a bigger gathering space for hosting and group events as well as providing a little more space for homeschooling and our children. We are thankful for the home God has provided and yet we also see the blessing of a home with more space to grow and use.
In addition, pray that God provide a core group of people who are willing to pray on a regular basis specifically for our ministry, our international friends, our family and for God to guide in starting a Bible study as He brings along the right people. It doesn’t need to be complex or large or even official, just a few faithful friends who are willing to commit to praying on a regular basis for this work.
God has been and is so good to us. In fact, as a praise, we recently received an anonymous gift of $500, with the verse of how God will meet all our needs. We give thanks to God, and if He did that through you, thank you! Truly our God does meet all our needs – above and beyond.
